Dar es Salaam Serena Hotel Completes Major North Wing Refurbishment
Dar es Salaam – Dar es Salaam Serena Hotel has completed a comprehensive upgrade of its North Wing, marking a significant enhancement to the property’s accommodation standards and overall guest experience.
The refurbishment introduces modernized guest rooms and suites designed to deliver superior comfort and value to travelers visiting Tanzania’s commercial capital.
The upgrade features light, contemporary interiors with user-friendly lighting and temperature controls, upgraded smart televisions, and modern en-suite bathrooms equipped with walk-in rain showers.
Combined with the hotel’s existing world-class dining and leisure facilities, the enhanced rooms strengthen the property’s position as a premier accommodation destination in Dar es Salaam.
Situated in the heart of the city, the hotel offers guests traveling for business or leisure an improved accommodation experience with signature hospitality standards.
Acting general manager Charles Mbuya described the completed refurbishment as a strategic investment in guest satisfaction and long-term quality.

The hotel will launch Phase Two of its refurbishment programme in January, upgrading the South Wing to match the interior and decorative standards of the North Wing.
Phase Two will also introduce a new Maisha Spa, featuring expanded facilities and services for women, designed to deliver an unmatched wellness experience in the city.
The planned works will be executed without disrupting the current guest experience, according to management.
To celebrate the North Wing refurbishment completion, the hotel has launched a limited-time promotional offer with single rooms priced at $159 and double rooms at $199.
