CUF Presidential Candidate Urges Peaceful Voting, Promises Transformative Reforms
Tanga, Tanzania – In a decisive press conference, the CUF presidential candidate emphasized the importance of peaceful democratic participation and outlined ambitious national development plans ahead of the upcoming October 29, 2025 elections.
Condemning calls for potential election day protests, the candidate stressed that voting is the sole legitimate pathway for political change. “Citizens should not allow the nation to descend into violence and unrest,” he stated, urging Tanzanians to participate actively in the electoral process.
The candidate presented a comprehensive vision for national transformation, pledging key reforms including:
