The President highlighted her administration’s significant achievements, including the near-complete Chake–Wete road, the new Shumba port, and strategic investments in education and water infrastructure. “Our goal is to ensure every household in Pemba has access to clean water 24/7,” she stated.
Key development promises include:
– Enhanced transportation and trade capabilities

Addressing potential election tensions, President Hassan urged peaceful democratic engagement. “Elections are about competing on policies and ideas, not fighting,” she emphasized, reinforcing her commitment to maintaining stability.
