CCM Vice-Presidential Candidate Promises Major Development for Nyamongo Residents

In a powerful campaign pledge, the CCM vice-presidential candidate has committed to transformative development across Tarime District, outlining ambitious plans for infrastructure, healthcare, and education.

During recent campaign rallies, the candidate highlighted significant progress over the past five years, promising to accelerate development in the upcoming term. Key infrastructure commitments include upgrading four critical road networks totaling 166.3 kilometers, connecting Tarime, Mgumu, Mogabiri, and Nyamongo regions.

Developmental Achievements and Future Projections:

Healthcare Expansion:
– Health centres will increase from 11 to 20
– Dispensaries will rise from 50 to 70
– Current mother-and-child health facilities have grown from 37 to 62

Education Enhancement:
– Primary schools increased from 137 to 162
– Secondary schools expanded from 38 to 54
– Classroom capacity grew from 637 to 1,043

Infrastructure Improvements:
– Clean water access enhanced from 51% to 73%, targeting 95% coverage
– Rural electrification improved from 68% to 88%

The candidate emphasized the party’s commitment to citizen-focused development, urging voters to support continued progress in the upcoming elections.

Road construction priorities include:
– Tarime–Mgumu: 87 km
– Mogabiri–Nyamongo: 25 km
– Tarime–Mobagiri: 9.3 km
– Nyamongo–Mgumu: 45 km

“These developments are visible to everyone,” the candidate stated, highlighting tangible improvements across the district.
