A groundbreaking new daily flight route between Arusha and Nairobi will commence on June 15, 2025, marking a significant milestone in regional tourism connectivity. This strategic service aims to enhance travel experiences across two of East Africa’s most renowned safari destinations.
The new route directly supports the government’s tourism promotion initiatives, aligning with recent national strategies to showcase the region’s remarkable natural landscapes and wildlife experiences. Scheduled flights will operate with precise timings: departing Nairobi at 8am and arriving in Arusha at 9am, with return flights departing Arusha at 5pm and landing in Nairobi at 6pm.
Arusha Airport has been transformed into a regional hub, featuring newly commissioned customs and immigration facilities designed to efficiently support turbo-prop aircraft operations. This infrastructure upgrade will significantly streamline cross-border travel for tourists and business travelers.
The service strategically connects two iconic wildlife destinations: Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park and Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Reserve. Travelers can now enjoy seamless transportation between these world-renowned conservation areas, potentially revolutionizing safari tourism in the region.
“We are committed to contributing to the growth of tourism across Tanzania and Kenya,” a company spokesperson stated. “This route represents our dedication to showcasing the extraordinary natural wonders and cultural heritage of East Africa.”
The airline will deploy a modern fleet of aircraft, ensuring comfortable and reliable travel experiences. This development is expected to simplify regional travel, support economic integration, and provide unprecedented accessibility to some of the world’s most spectacular wildlife destinations.
