President Samia Directs Prime Minister to Fast-Track CCM Manifesto Implementation
Dodoma – President Samia Suluhu Hassan has instructed Prime Minister Dr Mwigulu Nchemba to ensure swift implementation of promises outlined in the CCM 2025/30 election manifesto, demanding all planned initiatives be delivered as expected.
The President emphasized the critical need to accelerate execution of planned programmes to achieve results within a short timeframe, in line with campaign pledges reflected in the CCM 2025/2030 manifesto.
President Samia issued the directive on Friday, November 14, 2025, during an address following Dr Nchemba’s swearing-in ceremony at Chamwino State House in Dodoma.
She acknowledged that delivering these initiatives requires substantial funding. Leveraging his extensive experience in financial matters, Dr Mwigulu is expected to support the Finance Minister, once appointed, in mobilizing necessary resources to accomplish the outlined tasks.
"Implementing all these initiatives requires funding, and you come from the finance sector. Over the past five years, you have been familiar with the processes we followed to secure finances," President Samia stated.
"Therefore, you will oversee the individual who assumes your counterpart role at the Ministry of Finance, so that resources can be mobilised and the work executed. In short, you have a very significant responsibility," she added.
The directive underscores the government’s commitment to translating electoral promises into tangible results for Tanzanian citizens.
